GOP Reality Check

'Buffalo Bully' Racks Up Safety Violations

The Village Voice's Tom Robbins reports that Paladino bullied low-wage workers who cleaned his office buildings, detailed in a 1996 Nation Labor Relations Board decision. The OSHA has also cited Paladino's Ellicott Development numerous times for "serious" safety violations.

Paladino's 'Hypocrisy' as the State's Sitting Landlord

The Buffalo News, which originally reported on the millions Paladino collects from the government, says newspapers across the state are learning "that Republican Carl Paladino is in the awkward position of running against Albany while earning millions as one of its biggest landlords."

Carl the Government Landlord

Carl may say he wants to cut government spending, but what about the $10m the government spends on rent to Paladino? The Buffalo News lists all 37 government properties Paladino collects rent on. View them here.

'You Can't Fight the Crazy With More Crazy'

MSNBC's Rachel Maddow slams Carl Paladino as a “kook” who is the “anti-establishment, anti-government spending choice – unless the spending is government rent checks payable to him.”

Carl's $6m Property Buy

Adding to his stack of properties, Carl "Two-Face" Paladino closed on an "unusual cluster of high-priced deals in a single day," including Grace Manor, a skating rink and an airport parking lot, totalling $6m.
